I think Summer Movie Mania is a great idea for the local community. Even though the construction masks the entrance to the park where the movie was shown, the event was well attended and well staffed.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... the satisfied movie patrons and other volunteers. One Brick did a great job of recruiting a large number of volunteers for this one event.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... very enthusiastic and helpful.
Ways to make it better!
- If I ran this organization, I would... Create more banners and signs to place around the community and on different sides of the complex to advertise/direct people to the hidden entrance.
- One thing I'd also say is that... there was a great choice of movies for the summer. All the community members seemed to really enjoy the event as they dressed up for the movie, brought blankets and food, and had a great time.
