FOR is the social service provider for Mckees Rocks-Stowe. They do amazing things with few resources. They are profoundly committed to families, young children, health, and education. They are constantly growing and looking to address needs in the community.
The Great!
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... no one ever gives up on a person or a community.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... devoted to FOR and the community. Everyone has a big heart and is open.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... refine the Father Ryan Arts Center and prepare it for its full program potential
Ways to make it better!
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... facing the changing environment of non-profits in the future.

NHCO is a great organization that shows compassion and respect to their clients. Compassion Allegheny is a great resource to new and existing organizations to help them negoiate and thrive in the changing climate in the non profit and government environ.

- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... It's willingness to share and teach.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... knowledgeable and compassionate
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... set up an endowment that would be resourced for the next flood disaster and reinstate the employment services program it had.
Ways to make it better!
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... funding meeting community needs and addressing mental health issues among the poor, disabled, and victims of disaster.
