My time with Food First was one of the best six-months of my life. I couldn't imagine a better group of people to work with from the staff to the director. During my time there I learned an amazing amount about every aspect of their policy, media, outreach and operations. Knowledge is one thing, but being a part of their grand effort was something I will never forget.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... the way they are able to bring people together and bring excitement to policy.
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... being able to direct my own efforts while being a part of a passionate team.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... remarkable, unmatched.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... give Marilyn a day off.
Ways to make it better!
- My experience would have been better if... we all had more hours in the day.
- If I ran this organization, I would... make sure I brought on staff I knew would keep up the fight and rely on them to keep the wheels turning.
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... fundraising.
