Each time I attend a graduation ceremony at Opportunity Junction I am inspired once again by the human success stories they make possible, by the commitment of the staff to the students and by the quality of the personal and job-related skills that have been implanted in the students. The program is very challenging to the participants, but the results are obvious especially in the changes that have taken place in each students as a result of their participation. An excellent program, well-organized and well-presented.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... the graduates and their success in the subsequent apprencticeship program and job market.
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... seeing the joy that graduation brings to each student as well as the family who have supported them in many ways during the program.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... competent and committed.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... fulfill the dreams of many more people in transition to the workplace.
Ways to make it better!
- My experience would have been better if... my present health situation had allowed me to participate more frequently.
- If I ran this organization, I would... continue the wonderful administrative practices that are now in place.
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... to continue to develop funding in order to both sustain and further develop the program.
- One thing I'd also say is that... I'm glad to be a part of it.
