I joined the Emerging Leaders Program when I was in the ninth grade. It was everything that I had expected and then some. We have gone on a lot of field trips to different colleges and trade schools that were very informative and helpful. Also we have had alot of guest speakers from all over the community that have been very interesting. I have learned a ton of different things like how to write a resume, interviewing techniques and even ideas on how to run your own business. I wish I could have joined earlier. This experience with Emerging Leaders Program has really made me a better individual and student.
The Great!
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... very helpful and kind. They really care about all of the students and want to see us do well.
Ways to make it better!
- If I ran this organization, I would... maybe plan more field trips in the future
