I will be interning at the Lighthouse Foundation this summer. I have also been involved with the Lighthouse a few times in the past through different youth group activities. In my short time there so far, I have seen employees work passionately toward goals and treat each and every person with respect, compassion, and understanding.
The Great!
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... The opportunity to see professionals really working toward one goal (serving others), and finding the means to accomplish it
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... Knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, respectful, professional
Ways to make it better!
- If I ran this organization, I would... Consider coordinating a small child care program for clients as well as people in the community in need of quality affordable child care
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... Financial resources
