When I was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer, I felt very alone and scared. A friend who had received help from the many services that WeSpark offered, told me where to go to get started. They offered so many programs to help with stress (Yoga, Guided Imagery, Tai Chi...to name a few) and the support groups run by wonderful Tara, were of great help during a difficult time. They even helped me get some hats and wigs to prepare for the hair loss during chemo. Having an organization like this, offering programs for free to clients who are struggling with cancer, is a wonderful thing! Thank you, WeSpark!

As a guest first, WeSpark saved me from falling into a black pit of terror and depression while I was making a decision wether or not to have a double mastectomy. Now that I am on the other side of my surgeries I am gratefull to all of the staff and donors that make it possible to walk through adversity with a good attitude, faith that everything is ok and a smile on my face.

I was blown away by the story of weSPARK I learned tonight from Executive Director Nancy- what an incredible organization fighting the good fight on behalf of everyone cancer effects! The greatest impression made was the sharing about how weSPARK works to help the healing process for all involved- those with cancer, but also any family of all ages, and friends. I confessed that 4 girlfriends of mine in the last year were diagnosed, which has effected me without me understanding it had until I really let that conversation out this evening. weSPARK uplifted me, and their Director offered to personally email me some important answers of aid that 1 girlfriend is especially struggling with- suddenly I felt so cared for myself, that I could help my friend and in turn feel relieved about my emotions about these struggles others around me are facing. Anyone in need has only to look to weSPARK to reignite their own inner peace with the fact that life does deal some very tough moments, but there are people to help everyone through- tonight I learned weSPARK is one of my new friends there to help me and those I love. Thank you weSPARK!

WeSpark is a remarkable organization that was there for me when I needed it most. I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and I was terrified out of my wits when I found out about them. They were welcoming, caring, informative and gave me both group and individual attention that I feel really made a difference in my fight. I am so thankful to this group and all that they have done and continue to do.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was terrified and a friend put me in touch with WeSpark. They were wonderful and they really knew how to handle my situation. I attended several of their programs and group therapy sessions and I will be forever grateful to them for their caring and help. I can't say enough good things about this organization.

As a staff member at weSPARK, I hear from guests time and again about how our mind/body/spirit-driven services have helped them through what may be the worst thing they, and their families, will ever face. At weSPARK we help the whole family -- the patient and all of their loved ones who are dealing with their cancer journey. It's remarkable to see how our help can soothe a family in crisis and sustain them through this process. Beautiful, really.

My breast cancer had returned after 14 years, I found We Spark through a friend who lives in the area. I joined the support group for Ongoing treatment at We Spark and have found it to be extremelly helpful. All of the staff at We Spark are warm, compassionate, loving and caring. There are incredible resources to be found in the library and through the staff members. All of the services provided at We Spark are done in a professional and caring manner. I don't live in the area, so it is quite a drive for me, I wish the facility was closer.

I originally called them because my sister was diagnosed with lung cancer and I wanted to attend a caregivers meeting. Little did I know I would be calling 2 weeks later for myself. On Feb 11th, 2011 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Attending weSpark has been life changing. The unconditional love and support is priceless. Knowing I can attend programs without having to worry about how I am going to pay for them was the best gift out of this whole experience. I have met so many amazing people and am forever grateful. I have recommended them to many people diagnosed with cancer because its nice to feel understood and at home when you are going through such a life altering ordeal. Thank you weSpark family for all that you do!!

weSPARK has helped me for many years now. They offer so many valuable activities and one-on-one experiences with a variety of talented and caring facilitators. Post surgery and during chemotherapy, I attended restorative yoga and qi-gong classes which not only relaxed me during class, but also allowed me to learn what to do to help myself at home. I've had many appointments with different counselors, energy healers, reiki healers, accupuncture professionals - all caring and helpful people who helped me heal inside and out. Realizing that you are not alone and that others have your same "hair style" makes coping with a serious illness easier, plus you find new friends who really understand what you are going through. I don't really know what I would have done without weSPARK - so I cannot say strongly enough - THANK YOU weSPARK for all your help and care and open door.

It's difficult to put into words the effect that WeSPARK had on my well being and spirit during the most difficult time of my life. Although they have all the typical "group" scenarios available for their members, they have the perfect combination of activities to suit everyone.
I found
compassion, empathy, great friends, and new ways of being from the Qi-Gong and Yoga classes. I rekindled my love and affection for horses with their classes in Equine Therapy. The one on one sessions with Energy Healers and Reiki Healers were beyond compare. In my humble opinion WeSPARK is the Number One Cancer Support Center. I am honored to be a member and to have such good care and I recommend this organization to anyone who needs their help.
