TWTC is one of the few substance abuse programs in Illinois that can accommodate children in residential treatment. Services include substance abuse treatment, parenting and health education, child care, transitional living programs. TWTC clients come from every county in the state to participate in substance abuse treatment. The Women’s Treatment Center is committed to helping children by strengthening families. We believe that all children deserve sober parents. TWTC provides children the opportunity to reside with their parents in a residential setting, thereby reducing the trauma of separation. Our child-centered programs were created with these values in mind. We designed them to provide a safe environment for women to get sober and to learn the parenting skills needed to properly care for their young children. |
