Hello, not quite sure how to do all this.I am writing in regards of my sister.Our Grandma passed away in may, last July her husband and children's father was killed in a head on collision..Our Uncle passed in August; and then our brother in our arms in our home in Dec.We have no work where we live and our trying to move from Island Park,ID, to somewhere in Montana....If anyone is interested in helping at all it would be most dear to my heart...My name is Starr, and my sister's name is Brittany.She has 2 sons, ages 6 and 2....If anyone can lend a hand to help make a fresh start happen....Thank you...Starr...God bless...

I am just someone seeking help. Don't know if I am at the right place. I don't know who to ask or where to go. I don't have the help of family or friends for they have their own problems. I tried to be creative this morning and made up my own website, to see if anyone can read it and help. I'm not perfect, I am just human who finds her self struggling and drowning. Can't stop crying, and when I talk to someone about my situation I start to cry. My kids are seeing me cry all the time and that is something I swore I won't let them see. I am now determined more than ever to do what I can to get through this. I am attaching my link.. where I shared my story. If you can take a moment to read it. Maybe you can possibly help or even email me some encouraging words. Thank you

At the lowest point in my life, when I felt completely alone in my struggles, a friend told me about SMO. Joining SMO brought an immediate sense of support and caring to my isolated daily life. From the very beginning I was embraced with kindness and shown that hope still exists. Finding a place where I could turn to when times were hard gave me the strength to hold onto the infinite possibilities that are just waiting to be discovered. I have had the privilege of meeting DaAnne in person and I can say with absolute confidence that this organization is genuine in their concern for all single mothers and their needs. I am so very grateful to have found SMO. They were there when I needed someone the most.

I attended the Moms Night Out program which I greatly appreciated. I had a fun time getting to know the other mothers involved in SMO and playing Bunko. As a single mother, I hardly ever get to go out. It was wonderful to have childcare at the Boys and Girls Club because my children had a fun time there. I had a relaxing night out with adults which is something that I rarely get to do because I am a single mother.

the wonderful people that work at SMO. Pamela is an inspiring person with a great personality and heroic life journey. It was nice to hear her story and know that even though times are tough right now, things will and can get better.

As a donor to SMO, and also a single mom, I so encourage this organization to keep up the good work. My daughter is now grown, and I don't have the same stress as single parents raising young children. I wish I had the opportunity to receive the encouragement and guidance that SMO provides.

I attended the recent fund raiser. We had a great day of golf, a wonderful dinner and then the benefit of listening to some of the single moms who've been given encouragement, financial guidance and practical tools to help raise their kids.

I just recently joined Single Mothers, but from what other single mothers have told me about their program is the reason I have joined. Last Christmas they provided christmas to one of my friends and her son...Single Mothers made christmas possible for them both...thank you.

It has been a privilige and a pleasure serving on the board of directors for Single Mothers Outreach. This organization empowers single parents to become self sustaining. Watching the work that is done day in and day out in the office is truly awe-inpspiring. Our staff gives of themselves completely to our clients. They believe in making a difference in the lives of our clients.

It still feels like yesterday when I first took courage to call SMO and ask for help! I had been divorced for 3 months and struggling with my two boys. My ex-husband had taken almost everything away from us, including my parents! When I met with DeAnne the first thing I told her was that I wasn’t there looking for financial support, all I needed was GUIDANCE and EMOTIONAL support, with a smile on her face she said, “We’re here for you, even if you needed financial support”… And only God knows how much SMO has helped me. I am a current Financial Peace University student and as a result I am becoming debt free and been able to live on a budget with clear goals for the future. Thanks to SMO and blessed donations my children were able to have a very exciting Christmas last year. I’ve also participated in a project to help single mothers like me begin their own business and/or have some extra income by receiving advice from E-Bay experts. More or less words all I need to say is THANK YOU SMO for giving me the necessary tools to make my life worth living and provide my children with a perfect example of perseverance and optimism. I first heard of SMO at College of the Canyons. DaAnne was doing a workshop to tell us single mothers about SMO. I join right on the stop have been a member ever since. I've been lucky enough to be part of christmas where we recived gifts for myself and my son. :) SMO also provided us with a great mothers day gift of a day at six flags magic mountain with my son and also provided lunch. This past friday I was able to enjoy a great night out with other single moms and we all enoyed a great dinner along a game and a chance to meet the other mom. The people at SMO are such great people that do sooo many woderful things too help us single mother. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH...YOU ARE GREAT!!

I met DaAnne Smith when she assumed the day to day leadership of SMO about 3 years ago. Since then we have collaborated on services for our common clients and client unique to each of our organizations. We have collaborated on fund raising ideas and programs and have referred clients to each other.
