Target demographics: Serving the homeless, especially women and children, in Stark County and the surrounding areas; providing childcare for children ages 6 weeks through 10 years of age.
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Paint, clean, sort in our donation room, assist with mailings, serve on a committee.

14 years ago I stayed at the YWCA when my 4 year old daughter and I became homeless, I lived at the shelter for 90 days and then transfered over to their transitional housing unit. Without the shelter I would have had no where to go. Our county would be useless without the benefit the YWCA has to ...
