Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Volunteers are needed to help distribute flyers about VansForVets.Org in his/her locality or neighborhood. Mission:

To provide handicap-equipped vehicles and other services free of charge to Disabled and Homeless Vet’s and their Families.

Results:

Many vehicles placed with applicants; 6 motorized wheel chairs placed to date; one handicap-modified small sailing vessel supplied to date.

I found them on the internet and I'm glad I did. When I came back to PA from the war I didn't know my wife had left me and took our baby. I didn't expect to be treated so good by people I didn't even know. Vans For Vets helped me get stabilized and gave me a job fixing some vans and 3 cars. It ... more »
