Direct beneficiaries per year: 155 orphaned children under Udayan Ghar Programme, 1400 girl children through Udayan Shalini Fellowship Programme, 300 youth and women under IT & VT centers, 80 HIV/AIDS affected children and their families
Geographic areas served: New Delhi and NCR, Rajasthan, Maharastra, Uttarakhand and West Bengal
Mission:
Udayan Care seeks to engage socially committed individuals in bringing about a world in which each disadvantaged child enjoys a supportive family environment, opportunities for self-development and higher education, the dignity of self-reliance, and the ability and desire to give back to society.
Results:
•200 orphaned and neglected children got benefited so far through the Udayan Ghar Programme- they received the best quality education, nutrition, clothing and love and care. Finally a HOME, a family of their own.
•2000 Girls so far received Udayan Shalini Fellowship to continue their studies.
•More than 3000 youth and women from disadvantaged community received skill development support from our information technology and vocational training centers.
•More than 200 HIV/AIDS affected children and their families through Out Reach programme.

My association with Udayan Care Started in 2008. I used to visit their Noida Home where young boys who used to live on the streets, orphaned, drug abused; these kids found a Home where they were loved, cared and provided with everything that any child in a Middle class family can possibly have.
