Mission:
“To promote the conservation of the natural resources of the Swatara Watershed by conducting scientific investigations and research, disseminating information, conducting educational programs, sponsoring conservation projects and all activities incidental thereto.”
Results:
During the Swatara Sojourn each year, we help to develop stewards of the Swatara Watershed by canoeing and cleaning up litter. People from 8-80 help with this endeavor. 2009 was our 21st year.

This all volunteer organization has been guardians of the Swatara Creek for decades. They clean-up the Swatara, created a Water Trail, organize Sojourns, educate the public on the need for water conservation, interview and document the history of the Swatara, helped farmers install Best Management ...
