Opportunity Junction was founded in 2000 with the name “Opportunities for Technology Information Careers” and adopted its current name in November of 2006.

83% of those who complete our Job Training and Placement Program leave with jobs averaging more than $13 an hour. Of those who leave with jobs, 80% are still employed 18 months later.

We are concerned about the effect of the economic downturn on wage levels and employer hiring.

purchase a new set of computer textbooks for a job training participant.
Your donation of 500 enables us to:
provide a week’s work experience to help a participant develop confidence and skills.
Your donation of 1000 enables us to:
provide fully-integrated services—including computer training, life skills, mental health services, and case management—for one participant for a month.
