Mission:
LCIF, was established in 1968 as the humanitarian arm of Lions Clubs International. It supports the activities of Lions throughout the world with particular emphasis on blindness prevention and sight restoration projects (SightFirst), youth programs, aiding the disabled, and emergency and disaster relief grants to assist communities impacted by natural catastrophes.

I had an awful experience with the lions club international in Sacramento, the clubs in the north and south are probably the most racist group of people I have ever met, you would be treated better walking into a Jewish synagogue as a black man dressed as Jesus. To echo another reviewer, NONE of the charity money that you donate goes to administrative expenses. Members pay yearly membership dues and that is where all of the administrative expenses come from. Internationally and locally, Lions serve... more »
