Direct beneficiaries per year: St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Joshua House

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: come to one of our projects held once a month on a Saturday. It's specially made for families with children of all ages, so everyone is welcome.

Mission:

Help to improve the communities in the Tampa Bay Area.

Results:

Adopted a park in Tampa and did 4 clean ups in 2009.
Created a huge Easter Egg hunt for the children in the Joshua House.
Raised funds and donated toys to the Children's Hospital in Tampa

I help out with Families for a Better Community. I love it, once a month we go out and help out. I meet my friends and make new friends, that's fun. Today we had another project in the park, which I liked we came out and helped make the playground nicer. I'm looking forward to the next project... more »
