Baltimore Woods Nature Center is a not-for-profit environmental education organization committed to promoting environmental awareness, understanding, and responsible natural resource stewardship among all people, especially children. BWNC accomplishes this through teaching and interactive activities at Baltimore Woods as well as urban, suburban, and other rural landscapes of Central New York.

I love to walk the trails and explore the gardens at Baltimore Woods. When my daughter was young, we came to programs on bugs, birds and other critters, as well as the night sky and nature sounds. It's a less-crowded alternative to Beaver Lake Nature Center, more conducive to quiet, meditative walks...
