Target demographics: Homeless and low-income families and individuals in Alameda County. Several of our programs provide service coordination for specific populations (e.g., individuals with disabilities, or youth aging out of the foster system).

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Prepare and serve a meal at our emergency shelter, tutor a student, greet visitors at the front desk, lead an activity in our Children's Program, help a resident revise a resume and cover letter - if you're interested in helping, we're interested in hearing from you!

This review is based on their reputation for inability to retain staff and high turnover. How can the public receive consistent services if their staff keep changing? I am frustrated as a client and have inquired about this issue. I am suspecting this is due to management... more »
