There is not a more worthy cuase than childrens health or education. I believe what you do is essential to the growth of the world community, and benefits us all greatly. Thank you for all you do to support our youth.

PCRF saves lives. They give comfort and hope to children and families. There efforts educates the community on this very important issue. I was lucky enough to attend there card artist event. The love and support that was shown overwhelmed me. I am so very thankful to all the volunteers at PCRF. This is an organization like no other.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

there Holiday cards and marathons. They help comfortand educate my niece and our family when she was diagnosed with cancer.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do my very best to keep it on its incredable quest.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The commitment they have to the children. Children are innocent and do not have the means to help themselves. This organization is ready and willing to do what ever it takes to find a cure for children with this heart wrenching disease.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The head of the board said"If we find a cure for the common cold in our quest to stop childhood cancer then we have succeeded."

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help billions of children and there families. cancer is a family disease. PCRF does all they can to keep hope alive.

Ways to make it better...

I knew they were getting the govermental support that they desearve.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

FINANCIAL SUPPORT!

One thing I'd also say is that...

PCRF touches many people with there wonderful cards. They bring awarness to this childhood disease by having theses cards available to the public.

My wife and I have been involved with PCRF for a number of years. The work that this organization is sponsoring is phenomenal. Over the years, we have been deeply moved by the hundreds of personal testamonials that young people have presented to provide a first hand view of the wonderful advances in treatment and care that the Foundation has made possible. At the heart of PCRF and its work are a multitude of active, caring and extremely generous volunteers.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Do very little differently. They are warmly efficient, care and effective in addressing the goals of this organization

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing the courageous young people who have and continued to battle cancer in its various forms, and hearing them explain what they have been able to achieve through the support of this organization.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Extremely competent and generous. It takes a great deal of personal commitment to be an active player in the work of a non-profit, primarily volunteer staffed organization. The staff of PCRF are wonderfully upbeat and caring.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Excellerate the concentrated quests for the root causes of cancer and in the development of new and progressively more effective approaches to treatment.

Ways to make it better...

We had lived in the Orange County area.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Maintaining the positive and productive relationships with the research and care providing institutions that PCRF is supporting. Effectively reaching out to pediatric patients and their families to keep in constant contact with them and their needs.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Over our lives, my wife and I have been directly or peripherally involved with a large number of non-profit organizations. Among all of these, PCRF seems to be the most successful and best run.

There is nothing closer to my heart than pediatric cancer, as this terrible disease took my eight year old daughter two years ago. It is unthinkable that there is so little federal funding for research in this area, and PCRF is a ray of hope for each and every family, by directing all of their donations to research specifically for pediatric cancer. In addition, my daughter was thrilled to be able to participate in their children-with-cancer-designed Christmas cards, as so many children are. It is such an amazing program and great way to raise funds. They make these children feel special and important. Most importantly, they have been successful in raising a great deal of money towards researching a cure for a disease that steals beautiful children from this world, and tears apart families. God Bless them!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

their amazing Christmas Card program, and the amount of money they have raised that ALL goes directly toward pediatric cancer research...not administration.

I love working with Nancy Franks and the entire staff. The care and dedication given to every function really shows just how passionate everyone at PCRF is about helping to eradicate this terrible disease. Thank you for making me part of a GREAT team. Michael Villani

I love this organization and I can't say enough about it. I have a passion for pediatric cancer although I have never been directly effected by it. I have volunteered with PCRF a few times and also recruited my sister. We had such a great time during events and the people are all so genuine. You really get a sense of what the organization is all about once you see the smiles on all the kids' faces that they touch. I have since moved out of state and am still looking for such an organization like this.

I am not sure how to answer this ... nothing. They are fun, inspiring and I wouldn't change a thing.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the need for funds and volunteers ... as with any non profit, especially in this economy,

One thing I'd also say is that...

my experience there has always been so fun! This past year was the first I have had to miss and I was so sad. I cannot wait to get the whole family involved again next year!

I have done some volunteer work for PCRF and am very impressed by the dedication of the staff and volunteers. Everone I came in contact with really cared about the kids and the organization. It was a joy working with these people who devoted many many hours trying to find a cure for childhood cancers and provinding support and comfort to parents. Helen Naughton

My daughter is a cancer survivor and we have supported Pediartic Cancer Research Foundation for the last 7 years. They continually do new research to provide cures for childrens cancer. For the children that are healthy enough there is the Western Roundup evey year. This was a favorite for my daughter with all the rides, games, food and wonderful prizes.

I currently help PCRF with their media and PR efforts for their annual Run/Walk event in Irvine. I also attend their annual Bid For the Kids. PCRF does many great events to help raise money for research to help find a cure for kids with cancer and fight the horrible disease. 80 percent of each dollar is spent on finding a cure, so your donations go a long way.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

all the kids who have fought this horrible disease and won due to the research that has been done.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

fantastic, hard working individuals.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Find a cure for ALL childhood cancers.

Ways to make it better...

More people would help them in their efforts--they are always looking for volunteers.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The economy and people/businesses not having the funds to donate as much money.

One thing I'd also say is that...

there are a lot of families who have gone through so much dealing with a child who had cancer and they leaned on PCRF to help get them through the tough times.
