I went to a program at the JCC that was amazing- and FREE! It was a completely subsidized program for young adults on Jewish learning. There were interesting classes on comparative religion, free food and musical performances, and I didn't feel weird that I'm not even Jewish. Their building was extremely nice and the people there were friendly. I was impressed that they could offer such a nice program for free.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... The program I attended
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... Very nice and helpful.
Ways to make it better!
- My experience would have been better if... The other program participants had been more welcoming- it was hard to meet people.
I was a Professional with expertise in this field & I work at the JCCSF!
Post public compliment
I am a new employee at the JCC in San Francisco and am really impressed with the quality of both their programming and operations. As someone who previously worked in the private sector, I was unprepared for the level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and efficiency of the staff here.
I also participate in programs at the JCC and am a gym member. The building is beautiful, the gym is nice, and the people who work here and who come here are both friendly overall.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... Classes, the fitness center, and happy people.
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... The variety of people served. It's one of the few places in the city where you see a 90 year old woman sitting next to a mother and infant and striking up a conversation.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... Very friendly. Customer service is a priority here.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... Build an addition!
Ways to make it better!
- My experience would have been better if... There is definitely some programming I wish they offered that they don't.
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... Space issues. The gym could be much bigger and is never empty, even at unpopular times. There could be more programs offered if there were more rooms.
