I've been volunteering with Home Front Hearts for about 6 months now and have witnessed absolute miracles! Randi and her team jump into action to help military families with anything they need -- no questions asked. Home Front Hearts truly changes lives. Randi is one of the most dedicated, selfless people I know. She treats volunteers with the utmost respect and provides an extremely encouraging and supportive environment.

not change a thing! Well, if I had the power to grant them additional funding to assist hundreds more, I would!

Our family is so very grateful to Home Front Hearts for the gift card they sent us. Being a caregiver of a Wounded Warrior is no easy task and there are times when the little extra help goes a long way. We are so happy to have been helped by an organization that truly cares for our Veteran's and their families. Thanks so much Home Front Hearts and God bless you for all that you do.

Home Front Hearts is a non-profit that truly performs miracles! In contrast to experiences with many of the larger, flashier, organizations out there to whom I referred many military families while serving as a command volunteer, Home Front Hearts has delivered to each of my families referred, in the fashion most needed by the individual families. Recently, my family and I've found ourselves in need of support and assistance in a vast array of areas due to our service member's chronic, serious illness and, with all of the resources out there- Home Front Hearts stands tall as the ONLY organization who has helped us. We fall through the cracks in available programs and, as Active Duty, don't qualify for others-and for some needs, there are no programs. While taking great care to preserve our dignity, Randi has performed incredible miracles with a budget that, I'm sure, is much smaller than the larger organizations. Home Front Hearts has stepped in and helped and provided gift cards for food, gifts for my children at the holiday times, an ear when things get overwhelming, as well as referral information to other organizations that assist military families. Currently, HFH is finding ways to enable us to make necessary repairs to our home. I can not say enough positive things about this organization. Trustworthy, honest, experienced with the military family lifestyle and dedicated-- all of that, and much more, describe Home Front Hearts!

This organization and the people involved do more than provide band-aids for obstacles or financial hardships- they problem solve and help to form plans that, once the obstacle is overcome or mitigated, promote independence and the ability to move forward.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

HFH has made a huge difference in my community, by helping three families, and continuing to offer assistance to my family with necessary home repairs.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Provide funding to Home Front Hearts to permit expansion and growth- thus allowing Randi and her people to help even more people. Some people are just meant to help others- honestly and with quiet dignity. Randi C. is one of those people.

Home Front Hearts' mission is to serve the families that serve our country and that is exactly what Randi Cairns does. I am proud to say that we were one of the families that Randi helped. Randi generously supported our family when all hope was diminished. She opened her arms and heart and gently guided us to solid ground. I am the mother of two daughters and caregiver to my husband who is 100% totally and permanently disabled in the line of duty. It has been impossible for me to leave the home and go out to work. Financially we were not "making ends meet" and we desperately needed help when Randi stepped in and saved the day. After all this transpired Randi Cairns contacted me a few weeks later to offer me employment. I am proud to announce that I am now a "Pay It Forward Fellow" for Home Front Hearts. Thank you Randi for being so strong and capable and always being there for military families in need.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

not know what to say as Randi the Executive Director of Home Front Hearts is a strong mother and military spouse who understands military families and their needs. More donations for this organization would probably be the only change.

Randi and her family were gracious enough to come and speak to the teens of our parish Confirmation program. They spoke to them about what it's like to be a military family and the sacrifices that our men and women (and their families) make every day. They were warm, outgoing and very knowledgable. Randi's spirit for caring and giving far exceeds her family. She works hard each day to help spread the word about her organization and the ways they can best serve our country's finest.

The power and worth of any organization stems from the authentic values underneath. By this measure, HFH stands very tall indeed. With her husband on the front lines in Afghanistan, Randi Cairns experienced firsthand the challenges on the home front. Caring for children, keeping a one-adult household afloat, and making ends meet, Randi found the compassion and strength to build an organization to serve others like her.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find a way for its chief executive to dedicate herself to it full time, and get 2-3 great full-time lieutenants as well.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Make an enormous difference in an area where we have an unforgivable void in this country: care and resources for military families.

Ways to make it better...

This organization has more resources so that they could increase their important work.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Resources, and awareness in this country - which begs the question: how could there not be awareness when we are (still) fighting two wars abroad?

One thing I'd also say is that...

Please consider going to www.homefronthearts.org and giving a gift of any size. Families on the Home Front need and deserve your help.

As President of the St. Bartholomew Columbiettes, I have had the opportunity to have the members help The St. Bartholomew Columbiettes are a church oriented organization that provides aid to charitable organizations in the community. We have been providing help for over 11 years and our experience with Home Front Hearts was very rewarding to our members. We felt like we had made a difference in the lives of several military families especially around the holidays.

Home Front Hearts is an organization dedicated to helping soldiers and there families. The dedication begins with Randi, the founder of the organization. Our family and friends have participated in collecting supplies for children in need to send abroad while her husband was stationed there. Locally we held a Christmas Party where the guests donated gifts and purchased furniture for a military family. I've also participated in a baby shower for a military family in need and expecting a child. Randi is very helpful in finding a way everyone can help, either financially, physically or through a collection of sorts.

that I truly know that we have helped make the lives of several military families better thanks to our involvement with this organization.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

see their work reaching so many more people. They'd be able to hire a staff which would not only allow them to help more people but it would allow them to have more time to work on fundraising to make that 10 million dollars grow.
