Special Delivery

Special Delivery is a program where donor families buy a set list of monthly supplies so that a family can have their basic needs met.  Items such as toilet paper, laundry detergent, tampons - none of which are available through food stamps or the food bank - as well as flour, sugar and oil.  The families served are so grateful for this program.  Currently about 25 families are being served but Coastside Hope would like to expand to include more families.  The process is simple.  The donor family receives a short profile of the family they are helping that includes what grocery items the family needs most.  The groceries cost about $35 a month and can be delivered to the Coastside Hope office in El Granada on the 3rd Wednesday or Thursday of the month.

Adopt a Family

The Christmas Adopt a Family program helps provide a brighter holiday for many low income families and seniors.  Recipients of the program work and live on the coast and contribute to our community in many ways.  The program allows donors to chose a family or senior and shop for them working from a profile list.  Or if you are unable to shop, cash donations are also welcome.
