The Jamie Leigh Foundation cordially invites you to participate in their 1st Annual Houston Golf Tournament. It is designed to allow supporters of The Jamie Leigh Foundation to enjoy an afternoon of fun and friendly competition and, more importantly, to raise money for The Jamie Leigh Foundation.
The Jamie Leigh Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping United States citizens and legal residents who are victims of crime, while working abroad for government contractors and subcontractors. They demand government contract corporations and government entities to act responsibly, and be held accountable to provide a work environment free of sexual harassment, and limit the potential for abuse. They insist contractors to disclose criminal activity to employees and prospective employees so that they can make educated decisions regarding their safety. They work towards the day when all US citizen contractors will be able to work without fear, consternation, and safety concerns.
This year’s event will be held at the beautiful Tour18 - America’s Greatest 18 Holes golf course on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008, with special guests: Jamie Leigh Jones and Congressman Ted Poe.
The Jamie Leigh Foundation has currently filed for a 501C (3) status with the IRS. Donations will be tax deductible retroactive with the filing date of October 1, 2007 and beyond. Help us make a difference! Please consider making a charitable donation in support of The Jamie Leigh Foundation’s life-saving work. The donation amount per golf participant will be $175.00
